A March 2026 change of heart paused a 4-1 vote in December 2025 by Arkansas PBS' governing body not to renew its PBS contract stopped — at least for an undetermined time — the shift of the organization to "Arkansas TV." Now, thanks to an anonymous benefactor, there a good chance "Arkansas PBS" won't fade away.

It's a new nationally syndicated daily sports news and culture program courtesy of growing Front Office Sports Studios, and the show's launch date has been confirmed as September 14. Introducing "Front Office Sports Tonight," a 30-minute offering that will air on a variety of affiliates, representing some of the nation's biggest TV station groups.
