GTI: Anti-Preclusion window opens today

Starting today and running through April 19, the FCC has opened a filing window for a group of 639 applicants that were identified by the FCC as being located within spectrum limited markets or outside the market but within 39 km of the "grid" of a spectrum limited market.  Applicants are required to make a showing that their application does not prevent an LPFM opportunity at the identified protected channel points.

REC has compiled the list of applications identified.  The link for each application points to a special version of the REC LPFM Channel/Points Viewer that shows all three channels of concern, a circle that indicates the protection area from the translator site and red dots that signify the LPFM Channel/Points.  If there are any red dots within the circles on the three maps, then the application is precluding potential LPFM opportunities.

Applicants may make mindor modifications in this window.
