REC Networks filed comments in Engineering and Technology (ET) Docket 10-235 which related, in part, to the improvement of the VHF television broadcast service.

REC Networks has released the latest version of the Low Power FM (LPFM) Channel Search Tool. This tool is used by prospective licensees of LPFM stations, media activists and others who wish the test the potential for community radio in a particular area.

The new LPFM Search Tool includes the base functionality to support the changes that are being mandated in the Local Community Radio Act of 2010.

REC Networks has filed comments with the FCC in MM Docket 99-25 in response to two comments that were recently filed. The comments were filed by a group of 21 broadcasters who have pending applications for translators under the Auction 83 window. The other comments were filed by religious broadcaster Educational Media Foundation (K-Love & Air-1) who also has pending Auction 83 applications.
