UPDATE: We have secured the funding necessary to make the trip to Urbana for this year's GRC. We are cancelling this specific fundraising campaign but we are still asking for help paying our bills this summer in our ongoing Summer Campaign. We need to raise another $400 by the end of August. The Grassroots Radio Conference is coming up and this year is going to be special because it will be (hopefully) the last GRC before the next LPFM filing window.
I have been invited to come to Urbana this year and participate in panel discussions on what is next for LPFM and potentially other spectrum issues.
While most of these expenses are covered, not all of them are. I really need to raise $200 to help cover bus fare to Philadelphia (to catch a ride to Urbana) and incidental expenses (such as food) while out there.

REC does not normally engage in proactive fundraising but this summer has been tough on us here and at the same time, we are getting closer to the next LPFM filing window and the more people who know about LPFM, the more quality applicants we will have in 2013 which means more diversity on the dial come 2014 and beyond.
Please help REC take our show on the road!
