With outsized attention on the rescission bill that "clawed back" preauthorized funding in FY 2025 to the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, the "AM Radio for Every Vehicle Act" has yet to progress to a full vote. Should that happen, supporters will be pleased to know that the bill is filibuster-proof in the U.S. Senate.

Now, it is being brought to market just ahead of the IBC2025 conference and expo in Amsterdam, courtesy of Sinclair-owned Dielectric.

He would later serve as President of New Media and for the past three years had been serving as Chief Operating Officer. On August 31, he stepped down from the role at the the company.

In the Tidewater region, The E.W. Scripps Co. owns and operates two TV stations, the CBS affiliate and an independent sibling. Starting Monday, it will have a new General Manager. It's an individual many at the stations are very familiar with.

It owns and operates five audio brands serving the Wichita market, and until now has been led by the woman who also oversees the company's St. Louis stations.  That's just changed, thanks from a promotion from within.

The company led by Jim Schwartzel is investing even more dollars into local media by creating a duopoly that some may already be raising their eyebrows over. While it creates a permissible duopoly, the close relationship between the McBride Family's radio and TV stations and Sun could be reviewed.
