Top TV streaming platform Roku has expanded an existing programming partnership with a Comcast division, with a new agreement in place that makes Roku content such as The Roku Channel available to FreeWheel demand partners.

“The new iHeartRadio app further underscores iHeartMedia’s mission to use the power of audio to build companionship and connection,” said Conal Byrne, CEO of the iHeart Digital Audio Group. “This experience blends the familiarity of the car radio with digital innovation to enable users to easily find the stations, artists and podcasts they know and love.”

The owner of NewsNation, WGN Radio, and the largest collection of broadcast television stations in the U.S. has confirmed that it is moving ahead with a reduction-in-force initiative. This move comes after a similar employee trimming move at The CW, which Nexstar Media Group controls.

The media workflow software creator and vendor launched in 2007 by Jinny and John Laderer and today led by CEO Mary DelGrande has entered the Canadian marketplace, thanks to a partnership with Orbyt Media.
