"REC's position on the status of North Miami Hispanic Community Radio and South Miami Hispanic Community Radio has not changed.
In January 2016, REC filed a supplement to the original Cesar Guel informal objection based on subsequent filing activity under the North Miami and South Miami applications. Our investigation has found the potential of an unauthorized transfer of control of both applications to Ministerio Internacional Yo Soy, Inc.
Currently, the FCC is actively investigating the applications of North Miami and South Miami which includes the relation of these applications to Yo Soy. The FCC is also investigating other Cesar Guel applications for which a similar filing pattern has been noted. On Tuesday, March 7, 2017, the FCC has sent a Letter of Inquiry to "North Miami" and "South Miami" to request various pieces of information.
This matter is now for the FCC to decide based on the evidence received during the investigation."
