This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

...The National Weather Service in Pleasant Hill MO has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Missouri... Crooked River near Richmond affecting Ray County. Little Blue River near Lake City affecting Jackson County. Wakenda Creek at Carrollton affecting Carroll County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Wakenda Creek at Carrollton. * WHEN...From Friday morning to Sunday morning. * IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Flooding of low-lying undeveloped areas along the creek begins. At 19.1 feet, Water reaches the bottom of the South Main Street bridge over Wakenda Creek. At 19.8 feet, South Main Street along with Stonewall Street and Wabash Road on the south side of Carrollton are overtopped by flood waters. Flood waters also threaten businesses in low-lying areas near the creek. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 8.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage tomorrow morning to a crest of 18.3 feet tomorrow evening.
