This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of southeast Texas, including the following counties, Hardin, Jasper, Orange and Tyler. * WHEN...Until 900 AM CDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 652 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to runoff from earlier rainfall. Flooding is already occurring in the warned area. Between 4 and 9 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Beaumont, Lumberton, Silsbee, Kirbyville, Kountze, Sour Lake, Fred, Evadale, Wildwood, Warren, Saratoga, Buna, Thicket, Bevil Oaks, Lakeview, Caney Head, Village Mills, Honey Island, Weiss Bluff and Mt.
