This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

* WHAT...Flooding caused by earlier excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of north central, northwest, and west central Missouri, including the following counties, in north central Missouri, Caldwell, Carroll, Chariton, Daviess, Grundy, Linn, Livingston and Sullivan. In northwest Missouri, DeKalb and Gentry. In west central Missouri, Ray. * WHEN...Until 630 PM CDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Flood-prone roads will likely become flooded beginning this evening. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 636 PM CDT, Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen today. Runoff from this rainfall has caused area creeks and streams to rise. Recently State Route W has been closed due to flooding. Additional roads will likely become closed within the warned area due to high water. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
