This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

Winds gusting as high as 55 mph with gusts to 70 mph for higher ridgetops. * WHERE...Lassen-Eastern Plumas-Eastern Sierra Counties. * WHEN...From 11 AM Saturday to 8 AM PDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road conditions. Strong winds could cause damage to trees and power lines. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Those traveling over higher Sierra passes and recreating in the Sierra back country should be prepared for late season wintry conditions at times overnight Saturday into early Sunday morning.
