This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

Blackfoot River near Shelley (Wolverine Canyon) affecting Bingham County. .Snow melt and increased reservoir releases will cause the river flows to become high. Expect minor flooding downstream from the dam. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring. This approaches the flood of record. * WHERE...Blackfoot River near Shelley (Wolverine Canyon). * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 8.5 feet, From the mouth of Wolverine Canyon upstream to the Blackfoot Dam, water flooding may be possible. Unimproved campgrounds may have water seeping or ponding in them along with strong flows at river's edge.
