This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

For the West Fork San Jacinto River...including Humble...Major flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Major flooding is forecast. * WHERE...West Fork San Jacinto near Humble. * WHEN...From this afternoon until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 52.3 feet, Major lowland flooding begins as homes on Lake Lane West and Southshore Drive in the Belleau Woods subdivision begin flooding. Roads into the Treasure Cove subdivision are inundated and homes along Aqua Vista Drive threatened. Water is in many homes on Lake Point Drive in the Northshore subdivision. At 55.2 feet, Major lowland flooding continues with up to 6 inches of water is over the 800 block Hamblen Road adjacent to the Kingwood Cove Country Club Golf Course with many homes in the Bellau Woods and Treasure Cove subdivision are flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:45 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 48.2 feet. - Bankfull stage is 45.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this afternoon and continue rising to a crest of 61.1 feet late Saturday evening. - Flood stage is 49.3 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 62.0 feet on 05/29/2016. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
