This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Illinois...Indiana... Wabash River at Montezuma, Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site, and Riverton. .Minor river flooding continues but is expected to come to an end on the Wabash River by Friday evening. The crest is currently near Riverton. Additional rainfall from multiple systems over the next week could bring renewed minor river flooding to the Wabash. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Wabash River at Montezuma. * WHEN...Until late tonight. * IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Several hundred acres of bottomlands along the right bank from the mouth of Sugar Creek to northern edge of Montezuma begin to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:45 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 14.5 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:45 AM EDT Thursday was 15.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late this afternoon and continue falling and remain below flood stage. - Flood stage is 14.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
