This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

Navasota River Near Easterly affecting Robertson and Leon Counties. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Navasota River above Groesbeck. * WHEN...Until Saturday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 11.6 feet, Moderate overbank flow is expected along the east bank. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:10 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 10.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet. - Flood stage is 7.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 10.8 feet late this evening. It will then fall below flood stage early Saturday morning.
