This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

East Fork Trinity River At McKinney affecting Collin County. ...Forecast flooding changed from Minor to Moderate severity for the following rivers in Texas... Trinity River Near Long Lake (Oakwood) affecting Leon, Anderson and Freestone Counties. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Trinity River near Long Lake (Oakwood). * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 42.0 feet, Moderate flooding of numerous ranches along the river is expected. The Coffield Unit prison farm and adjacent ranch lands will be moderately flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:30 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 34.2 feet. - Bankfull stage is 35.0 feet. - Flood stage is 35.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this afternoon and continue rising to 41.7 feet Monday evening. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
