This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

For the Attoyac Bayou...including Chireno...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Attoyac Bayou near Chireno. * WHEN...Until early Sunday morning. * IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Expect flooded paths and secondary roadways. Move livestock and equipment to higher ground. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:30 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 15.5 feet. - Bankfull stage is 14.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:30 PM CDT Wednesday was 16.4 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage Saturday morning and continue falling to 11.1 feet Monday evening. - Flood stage is 14.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 15.7 feet on 04/07/2017. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
