This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana... Illinois... White River from Edwardsport south to Hazleton. Wabash River from Lafayette south to Mount Carmel. ...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Indiana... Wabash River at Lafayette and Clinton. .Main stems rivers in central and southern Indiana continue to work at emptying last week's copious rainfall. Flooding continues on the Wabash River from Lafayette to Mount Carmel, and on the White River south of Newberry. Flooding will last as long as mid week next week. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Wabash River at Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site. * WHEN...Until late Thursday morning. * IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Leaverton Park in Palestine and park in Hutsonville begin to flood. Agricultural flooding spreads to higher land. Seep water is noticeable behind levees. Some elevated river cottages are surrounded by water. Several county or township roads east of Lincoln Heritage Trail between Palestine and Hutsonville in Crawford County Illinois are impassable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - There is no current observed data. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late Wednesday evening and continue falling and remain below flood stage. - Flood stage is 16.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
