This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

For the Lower Suwannee River...including Wilcox (US 19)...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Suwannee River near Wilcox (US 19). * WHEN...From Wednesday afternoon until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, In Gilchrist County, water floods much of SW County Road 344 West of SW 80th avenue. In Dixie County, homes on Water Street at Pervis Landing are inaccessible. Flooding begins at the Suwannee River RV Park. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:30 AM EDT Friday the stage was 8.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage Wednesday afternoon and continue rising to 10.2 feet Thursday evening.
