This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

For the Withlacoochee River...including Valdosta (Skipper Bridge Rd), Quitman (US 84), Pinetta (CR 150)...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Withlacoochee River near Pinetta (CR 150). * WHEN...Until early Monday morning. * IMPACTS...At 78.0 feet, In Hamilton County, portions of NW 36th Terrace begin to flood south of NW 36th Way. Flooding begins to surround more homes at the end of NW 36th Terrace. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:30 AM EDT Friday the stage was 77.7 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:30 AM EDT Friday was 78.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early Sunday afternoon and continue falling to 64.7 feet Wednesday morning. - Flood stage is 73.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 77.7 feet on 03/03/1979. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
