This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

Red Chute Bayou At Sligo affecting Bossier and Bienville Parishes. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring. * WHERE...Red Chute Bayou at Sligo. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 31.0 feet, Expect extensive flooding in between the levee systems. Livestock should be moved to higher ground away from Red Chute Bayou. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:15 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 31.8 feet. - Bankfull stage is 29.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:15 PM CDT Thursday was 32.1 feet. - Forecast...No forecast is available for this location. - Flood stage is 31.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 32.0 feet on 03/07/1995. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
