France-based "Audio game changer" Digigram has brought to market an optional MPEG-TS service for use in the company's IQOYA X/LINK and SERV/LINK audio gateway ranges. As Digigram sees it, the addition of MPEG-TS option offers a wide array of new decoding possibilities for audio pros. 

A SEC filing shows that the former SBS exec is gaining an equity interest in the owner of WBLS and "Hot 97" in New York, and the operator of Estrella Media. Meanwhile, joining Rodriguez in MediaCo’s C-Suite is Brian Kei, who served as Estrella Media's COO and CFO. Additionally, Andrew Carington is on lease as Chief Legal Officer from Standard General.

On Friday, hundreds of thousands of radio listeners across the South were stunned by the news that "The ACE & TJ Show" has come to its end, and a new incarnation is already in the works. But"TJ & Riggins," the successor show, won't be airing on the Beasley Media Group FM in Charlotte on which Ace & TJ were heard.

Paperwork has been submitted with the FCC that seeks regulatory approval for a transaction in which a FM radio station licensed to Rockdale, Tex., will be transferred to the Cowboy Broadcasting Network from its current licensee.

There will be no death sentence for a 2,500-watt Class A FM serving the capital of Canada and neighbouring Gatineau, Québec. That's because Evanov Communications, with hours to spare, secured a buyer for the Ottawa radio station known as "Lite 98.5."

He was most recently the Chief Technology Officer at Allen Media Broadcasting, an arm of Allen Media Group. Now he has resurfaced at one of the nation's leading video systems integration and consulting firms as Director of Business Development and Technology.

It is licensed to serve Morris and Union Counties in northern New Jersey as a daytime-only AM radio station with an FM translator. Soon, it could be silenced for good, however.  Why? The station's owner is extremely tardy with its annual FCC regulatory fees.
