Our Jingles

I think that EVERY website should have a place off the main page where they showcase their jingles. (*^u^*)

JAM Creative Productions

Turbo Z - Cut 10 - Original "Free Phone Fun for You" lyric.

Turbo Z - Cut 10 - MegaConference (interestly enough, this jingle was never used in it's entirely however pieces of this jingle were used for future REC jingles)

Turbo Z - Cut 10 - MegaCity (This jingle was used for the last Chatsworth system that used the phone like a compass to navigate around.)

Turbo Z - Cut 26 - The "407-1000, it's REC!" song!

Z-Force Morning Cut - The "Get your ass in gear" song. Interestingly enough, long after Telephun went down, REC was able to obtain their old phone number 882-9524. Interestingly, the number came up as a random number in PREMIS (what the phone company used back then to assign phone numbers). I guess we were meant to have it.

REC617 Shout - REC617 was a phone line that unfortunately did not surface.

PAMS Jingles - Ben Freedman Sonovox cuts

Series 18 - Original - 407-1000 R-E-C.. just missing the "Whoopie!"

Series 18 - N6UII - Yes, I had one done of my ham call. Just in case the FCC would ever allow music on repeater IDs. (I would LOVE to still see that happen some day).

Series 18 - Flintstone - I have always called this the "Flintstone" jingle.

Series 18 - Kitty - Imagine a dark night outside, a cat is walking on the top of the wall, it looks at you and starts singing the lyrics to you. Creepy, huh? That's always been my impression of this #18 jingle.

Series 18 - Repeat - Proving once again, whomever wrote Series 18 must have been on some good acid.

Series 18 - Saxy - Oh yeah, we're havin' fun...on REC.

Series 18 - Saxy Cow - Relyric of the Saxy jingle for the REC Cow.

PAMS Jingles - Ken R. Toledo Vocals

Series 18 - Contempro - Everyone should have a series 18 Contempro jingle. This one is ours though.

Fun Captial - The fun capital (ding!) of phone entertainment!

Fun Sound - Having fun with the Phun sound from the phun town, L A!

REC 407 Shout - This is the revised version done in Toledo. The original version was done by Jam and was played to death since tape 100. The master copy of that shout is forever gone.

Home Made Jingles

Take what has been done for us and mangle it up, you get Home Made Jingles!

Rhythm of the City - The famous Drake-Chenault "Rhythm of the City" top of the hour jingle with a jam REC vocal in there.

Q-Cuts - Take the weather jingle from Q Cuts and mix it with the Jam 5-voice vocal from Z-Force and viola!

POWERPUFF.COM - Take Turbo Z cut 10, a PAMS jingle, a sonovox cut and mix that with some Chemical X and you get a cool jingle!

Tuesday Japanese - Take the infamous Drake Chenault XT40 "Time Machine" jingle track and add a Turbo Z 10 vocal and some vocoder. This jingle is used for REC live shows where we want to sneak in a JPOP song into a primarily English program.

Warp Factor Motivation - The very popular weather cut from Warp Factor with a Turbo Z 10 vocal and some vocoder makes the very popular Motivation cut!

Turbo-Z 10 - Morse Code - How often do you hear jingles in morse code? Has the harmonized REC vocal in it. (This was also used for the new HCJ Top-40 ending)

Turbo-Z 10 - Mice - What if 7 mice sung the REC Turbo-Z 10 Free Phone Fun jingle?

There are many many more.. but you are going to have to listen for them!
