This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

Neosho River near Parsons affecting Neosho and Labette Counties. Neosho River near Erie affecting Neosho County. ...The Flood Warning is cancelled for the following rivers in Kansas... Neosho River at Iola affecting Allen County. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Neosho River at Oswego. * WHEN...Until Friday morning. * IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, The roads around the water pumping plant and the river gage site floods. Expect field and cropland flooding near the river. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:45 PM CDT Monday the stage was 20.6 feet. - Bankfull stage is 17.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 23.2 feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall below flood stage early Thursday afternoon. - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
