This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

Mississippi River at Grafton. Mississippi River near Herculaneum. Mississippi River at Chester. Mississippi River at St. Louis. Mississippi River at Alton. River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast precipitation for the next 24 hours. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Mississippi River at St. Louis. * WHEN...From Wednesday morning to early Sunday morning. * IMPACTS...At 32.0 feet, Flood panels at Carr Street and Poplar Street are installed. Water will reach the base of the floodgates at Carr Street at 35 feet, and at Poplar Street at 36.5 feet. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 16.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late Wednesday morning to a crest of 32.3 feet early Thursday afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage Friday evening. - Flood stage is 30.0 feet.
