This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

Lamine River near Otterville affecting Cooper County. ...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Missouri... Petite Saline Creek near Boonville affecting Cooper County. Wakenda Creek at Carrollton affecting Carroll County. For the Crooked River...including Richmond...Moderate flooding is forecast. For the Lamine River...including Otterville...Moderate flooding is forecast. For the Petite Saline Creek...including Boonville...Moderate flooding is forecast. For the Wakenda Creek...including Carrollton...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Wakenda Creek at Carrollton. * WHEN...Until early Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Flooding of low-lying undeveloped areas along the creek begins. At 19.1 feet, Water reaches the bottom of the South Main Street bridge over Wakenda Creek. At 19.8 feet, South Main Street along with Stonewall Street and Wabash Road on the south side of Carrollton are overtopped by flood waters. Flood waters also threaten businesses in low-lying areas near the creek. At 20.7 feet, Wakenda Creek begins to flood the first floors of businesses along South Main Street in Carrollton. At 21.1 feet, Water overtops the South Main Street bridge. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 20.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late tonight and continue falling to 4.8 feet Saturday morning. - Flood stage is 16.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
