This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

Village Creek Near Kountze Pine Island Bayou Near Sour Lake Neches River at Neches River Saltwater Barrier Additional information is available at www.weather.gov. The next statement will be issued Tuesday morning at 945 AM CDT. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Neches River at Neches River Saltwater Barrier. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 7.0 feet, Water begins to go over Bigner Road into the saltwater barrier. Water also cuts off most access to the Four Oaks Ranch Road downstream of Four Oaks boat launch. Flooding of Colliers Ferry Park and secondary roads near the river can be expected. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:15 AM CDT Monday the stage was 4.6 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:15 AM CDT Monday was 4.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to 7.5 feet Friday morning.
