This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

Neosho River near Chanute affecting Allen and Neosho Counties. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Neosho River near Chanute. * WHEN...Until early Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 31.0 feet, A few isolated dwellings in the eastern outskirts of Chanute are subject to flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:30 AM CDT Monday the stage was 31.7 feet. - Bankfull stage is 23.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon and continue falling to 10.3 feet Saturday morning. - Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
