This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Texas... Chambers Creek Near Rice affecting Navarro County. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Chambers Creek near Rice. * WHEN...Until Wednesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 27.0 feet, Moderate out of bank flooding will occur along the creek. A few rural roads will be flooded. Minor lowland flooding is expected for farms and ranches downstream. At 30.0 feet, Major out of bank flooding along the creek is expected. Farm and ranch industries will be flooded. Several rural roads along the river will be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 28.0 feet. - Bankfull stage is 24.0 feet. - Flood stage is 24.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest near 30 feet early Tuesday morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Wednesday afternoon.
