This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

The next statement will be issued Monday evening at 845 PM CDT. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Neches River near Town Bluff. * WHEN...From Monday evening until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 70.0 feet, Flooding can be expected around Barlow Lake and Brushy Lake with some roads being cutoff and some of the lowest properties near the river begin to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 64.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late tomorrow evening and continue rising to 69.5 feet Friday evening.
