This is a simple retrieval tool that will query the REC database for alerts that have been received through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's IPAWS All Hazards feed. This will include alerts that are intended for the Emergency Alert System (EAS), Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) as well as severe weather related National Weather Service alerts which currently do not go over EAS through IPAWS/CAP. Non-severe weather information (except marine weather) is also available through the NWS feed..

For the Sac River...including Caplinger Mills...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Sac River near Caplinger Mills. * WHEN...Until late Tuesday evening. * IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, flood waters affect low lying areas near the river including farmland along Highway N and between Highway W and Caplinger Mills. Cedar Creek...a tributary of the Sac River backwaters and floods portions of Highway 39 and south of Cedar Springs. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:45 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 9.6 feet. - Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this afternoon to a crest of 20.4 feet just after midnight tonight.
