REC History Project - Station List
This is a list of the AM and FM stations (FM by channel 201~300) by market that have been enhanced in the REC Broadcast Query to include FCC application activity from at least 1924
through until 1980 when the FCC converted to the BAPS computer database system. Basic application information is available for all broadcast
records for the BAPS era from 1979 through 1999 as well as full data from the CDBS era of 1999 through today.

At this time, FCC History Cards are only available for AM stations with legacy call signs (those in 1980) that begin with K and many with W calls. Therefore at this time, markets east of the Mississippi can not be completed but we will work as many as we can. The FCC is slowly adding them, but we are grateful that they are.
There are other aspects of the REC Radio History Project that look at the data from the FCC's predecessor computer system, BAPS and an ongoing project to enter public notice data from applications filed in the BAPS era (1978-1999).
