REC Entertainment
Over the past 25 years, REC Networks has been involved in some kind of entertainment venture. In many cases, it's a strange mix of entertainment and geekyness.
Telephone Entertainment
In the 80's and 90's, the REC mainstay has been the telephone entertainment line. REC started as a telephone comment line in 1984. While the quality and production values are very inferior compared to today (and given that Rich/Michelle was only 14 years old back then), there were many strange innovations such as the various REC interactive voice systems. While REC's primary operations were in the San Fernando Valley of Southern California, later REC tapes and systems were in Palmdale, CA and Phoenix, AZ.
AHR Properties (formerly: REC J-Project)
Starting in the late 90's, REC moved its entertainment efforts from the phone to the internet. First, with the creation of POWERPUFF.COM, a website dedicated to a television show that would later become a cult classic, REC makes an impression on the 'net. Through what was then a free service Live365, REC created POWERPUFF-FM, a listening companion to POWERPUFF.COM. "PPFM" would later evolve into Anime Hardcore Radio which then has evolved into Hardcore J focusing on playing new release and chart Japanese popular music. Hardcore J would be eventually re-imaged as PURE JPOP - J1.
W0KIE Satellite Radio Network
In the 2000's, REC would start producing a small number of programs for the W0KIE Satellite Radio Network (now known as Skyscanner Satellite Radio Network). In addition to the longform programs, REC had also produced many short skits and songs for other W0KIE show hosts including the popular "REC Motivation" series.
Srap All Around
Srap All Around is Michelle's "back-up group" for her parody songs produced both in pre-transition and post-transition. Many of these parody songs are related to the W0KIE shows or roller derby.
Michi-chan Roller Sports Productions
MCRSP produced many videos featuring the women's flat track roller derby leagues in Arizona. This includes "The Arizona Derby Report" series of video shows. MCRSP is winding down most operations at this time but will continue to be available to record and produce videos when an opportunity arises.
